Title: Flaming Frontier (Old Surehand) (1965)

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0059538/

These Karl May based movies are kiddy stuff but they're entertaining. Great landscapes (which have nothing to do with american ones) and a Stewart Granger who infuses doses of zest in his performance and keeps the rhythm never abate, even though the story is all based on hackneyed plot turns. 6\10

I've seen behind the scenes/production pictures from some of those movies - very interesting and unusual stuff. Don't have them here, unfortunately.

In which part of ex-Yug were shot? Especially this one has some peculiar landscape.

Well they were shot all around, even if you check the filming locations of this one on IMDb, several places in different parts/republics are listed.

However, the most memorable locations and most often relied on were found in the region of Dalmatia, I believe, not by the sea but behind, in the wild mountains of the outback.
