I reckon Clint's going to be the winner here but for me it's got to be Eli Wallach.

popular votes gonna be clint but you just feel for Harmonica so much more because of his past and i think Bronson is 100% perfect in the role.

Gotta go with Tuco. Though I was close to a write in vote for Cheyenne.

Eastwood for president.  I even thought up a coolness-scale calling it 'the scale of eastwood'  ;D

Gotta be Harmonica for me. Every frame, Bronson is perfect, and gives off a vibe unlike any other figure in cinema.

Hang on Il Buono, if Clint is for Eastwood, that means u want the Republicans to win!!! AAAHHH, Clint's history as a Republican governor is scary enough given his legendary status....

Huuuuum; I agree he is very lovable; it was what Leone wanted, but in fact, if you reflect, he is not so nice...
He kills, he rapped, he leave the conjugal domicile...But I like him...We like him!!! ;)

Clint. None of the others have the face that's that perfect for Leone's extreme close-up's.

Eastwood.

Spaghetti Westerns started to tank when they started being about revolutions and causes.

My favourite "hero" in the Leone films is the most obvious one,i.e. Clint.

Clint followed closely by Bronson and Wallach

Had been the topic about "character", then it would have been Tuco, followed - not so close, though - by Frank and Indio. But talking being about "hero", then it can't be but Eastwood.

Gotta go with Eastwood. I love it when he throws his poncho over his shoulder.  It just wipes the smirk off of challengers faces. Bronson is a close second.  Tough choice.

Eastwood. No one is more badass with a gun, a stare, a walk, a wardrobe or a creepy voice like Clint. Just look how kick ass he is when he whipes out several men at once in scenes like the "Make that four coffins" scene, or when he kills those bounty hunters on the beginning of GBU. YES!
