Title: Montana Belle (1952)
Post by: cigar joe on January 04, 2012, 04:00:38 AM
Directed by Allan Dwan, with Jane Russell, George Brent, Scott Brady, Andy Devine, Forrest Tucker. Mildly amusing Western with Russell as Belle Starr showing off her assets in a variety of costumes, and acting as criminal mastermind involved with fellow outlaws, the Dalton Brothers. Filmed in 1948 in color this print seemed a bit washed out overexposed, it has some ridiculous lines also i.e., When a fellow outlaw gets the drop on Tucker with a gun in his back Tucker responds "like the Indians say - Long Time no See" that brought a chuckle from my Wolf Point Reservation born wife  :) 6/10
