I love the trailer, but... "Coming soon" my ass!

From the Variety interview with Tornatore few days ago:

Variety: I heard you are making a documentary about Morricone titled “The Glance of Music.” Can you tell me about it?

Tornatore: Yes, I started shooting it last year. I’m doing it working around my feature film duties. Last year I shot a massively long interview with him during which I think he told pretty much everything about his professional life. I’ve also done some other interviews and we are working on gathering more materials. Then there will be a fictional component that I will shoot at the end. But it’s going to take a while. I don’t think it will be ready for a couple more years.

Also, for anyone having trouble with the link (like me), here it is on YouTube:

By the way, Tornatore's new feature film was also just released in Italy:

Love this line:

Quote
I tried to write the music long before the film was made, in order to better express what I was thinking, because coming up with an idea from the start means that it is already attached to the film, it clings to the images, there is a connection like love at first sight.

Of course the obligatory Morricone score:

Has anyone collaborated more with Morricone than Tornatore? Obviously Morricone defines Tornatore's work in the same way as he does Leone's work, but of course Tornatore has made more films than Leone.

Any release date for this yet?
