Better than its premises, thanx to the fact that Kentucky was shot in Mexico (so much for european shot westerns) which led a KY congressman to organize a boycott of the movie. So they could hire lots of extras and the action scenes are different from the usual b-fare of the times and make the film earn a watch. The landscapes help organizing some original action scenes. The actors are good, can't understand why Brix had not a more relevant career in westerns. Chaney is excellent as an Indian chief.  This was the last movie shot with a two-color process. 6/10
