Wow, such a shame. The early onset of Alzheimer's is one of the worst things that can happen to a person. Loved her in Battle Beyond the Stars and that film she made with Leone. She was good in the Friedkin film as well.

I believe she is the first credited cast member of OUATIA to die, with the exception of James Hayden, who played the adult Patsy and died of a heroin overdose before the movie was released.

Glad some of Fleugelís scenes were added back in before she died, with the recent partial restoration. IMO her restored scenes were the most important of all.

You are forgetting Richard Bright, killed by a truck in 2006.

Yeah, youíre right about Bright.

Chuck Low, who had one brief scene as the father of Fat Moe and Deborah, also recently died, but I donít believe he was credited. His most famous role was as Morrie in GOODFELLAS, the guy whose wigs never fall off at the wrong time
