I pick one up at a western shop in Montreal. Made in Australia. Not quite the same as in the movies but wearing it, gets me in the mood of Leone's universe. You know?

hmm the outback one's are cool but the ones in the movie look superb obviously but their impossible to find. I know i'd look a bit of an idiot in one but it'd be cool for fancy dress.

You can find somethig similar in the following web page:

www.riverjunction.com

It`s made in brown canvas. The price is around $60,00. Jim (the owner) is offering it as a season special. In fact, I bought one two years ago. It look like that you can see in the movies.

The australian style is another thing, is a modern duster. The other is a replica based in a old pattern

I hope this help you

The only site I know of would be:
http://hollywoodprop.com/westerns.htm
Let me know how it goes, I'd like to see how you like the quality. I'm thinking of buying a hat from there.
Let me know!

I saw three of these dusters a short time ago. They were waiting for a train.

In the dusters were three men. In the three men were three bullets

It seems impossible to get a decent Spaghetti Western duster these days.

having looked at the dusters in both this film and GBU I have noticed:

1) Most of the dusters appear to have lapels
2) I see no codorouy collars

The only dusters I see today online for purchase are non-lapelled versions, either one fabric in linnen color only or  in the brown hues but with cororouy collars (eg - the wah maker offering).

Where can we get dusters like the ones in Leone's films and where did he get his!

Leone got his dusters from a Hollywood western costume company. I forgot the name of it but it can clearly be seen in the closing credits of OUATITW. When Leone went to look for costumes, the employees offered clean, tailored, American western costumes. The dusters were old and dirty and were in the discard pile but Leone wanted them.

Distressing the dusters is never a problem is simply the style that is so elusive these days.

Well in 1891 you probably just moseyed down to the Boots & Saddlery or the General Store an picked one up.  ;)

And a close up of linen dusters.

Notice the five Native Americans are wearing their dusters over their leggings and moccasins, W. A. Rumsey wears boots. Looks like they got collars fourth from left looks like lapels.

www.westernemporium.com (http://www.westernemporium.com)

That's a good website. Kind of pricy though... but they have some cool looking stuff for whoever wants it. I especially like their coats and dusters section.
