Title: NOBODY versus THE MAN WITH NO NAME
Post by: HEX on October 17, 2005, 10:27:03 AM: since my interesting SHOWDOWN OF THE CENTURY(courtesy of ICEMAN) poll seems to be out of commission
ive decided to set-up another interesting duel.

be sure to give reasons as to why the character u chose would win.
my money is on NOBODY. as much as i love EASTWOOD'S character ten times more then HILL'S I believe NOBODY can beat him to the draw easily.
either that or bitch slap him around a bit ;D

Eastwood picks off 36 people in the whole Dollars Trilogy most of the time he's in a three to one showdown. I vote Clint Eastwood.

By the way Hex, you know what would be interesting?
Jack Beaureagard vs. the man with no name. Jack's got the same skills as Clint and he even killed more people than him too.

kill counts dont really make experience
any idiot can grab an automatic and mow down a bunch of ppl just by spraying. that is not experience. obviously judging by how unhumanly fast NOBODY is quick on the draw he can no doubt beat CLINT to the punch. just watch the films. CLINT is definatley not as fast.

Can't believe it took me this long to see that film. All I needed was to see Sergio Leone presents and I was hooked.

Don't agree with you about Charles Bronson.Didn't Harmonica take a bullet in the beginning of OUATITW?I don't recall the Man With No Name or Nobody being shot in a showdown!

Man with No Name did get shot but with the steel plate. Don't know if you'd consider that. However, Clint has been shot to pieces and hung in Hang em High

I'll still take the Man with No Name in a showdown. With Nobody, I think he'd definitely win, but with Harmonica, he might not be so lucky. I like the pessimistic ending where MWNN and Harmonica both get shots off and kill each other. Take that Great Silence for most surprising downbeat ending!
