Title: Hank's son
Post by: Leonardo on November 24, 2006, 01:24:50 PM
Couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this one!
Henry Fonda's son!! Apparently while HF was shooting OUTIW back in 1968 in Almeria, he met a nice young spanish girl....
There really is a striking resemblance and according to JosŤ Novo, his mother told him that he REALLY is Frank's son.

Did you guys know about this???

So Fonda cheated on his wife while in Almeria?

Might as well have gone for Cardinale while he was at it.

Naughty naughty.

I doubt it for the very convincing reason that Fonda's wife was on the set with him most of the time.

However. . . there was a good reason, I assume, for Fonda having six wives, so you never know.  ;)

Wasn't she only around for the sex scene?

Plus Fonda could have slipped away from time to time.

Wow!  Thanks FC  for the exhaustive effort put forth in digging for the truth. It must have been tortuous for you to view those many half-naked spanish harlots to finally expose the truth. God bless you.
BTW... Is that a cell phone hanging out of her
pants??   Wait!!  Cell phones weren't around in the 60's, were they?   Damn You FC!!!!!  You conned us again!
(hmmmm....I wonder if her cell phone is set on "vibrate" ;D ;D ;D)

Fonda home movies taken on the set of OUATITW

Sorry Shirley, something else was going on while you were having fun taking home movies  :P

btw, this is true about the kid, someone should update Henry Fonda's wikipedia page; it's not mentioned anywhere http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_fonda#Marriages_and_children

If they ever do make a sequel to OUATITW, and give his son the exact same introduction as they did his father, the reaction will probably be "Jesus Christ! It's....Henry Fonda?".

Whenever he felt that his emotional wall was being breached, he had outbursts of anger, exhibiting a furious temper that terrified his family

It's hard to imagine a really pissed off Henry Fonda.

yeah, I can't remember Henry Fonda ever getting really angry in a movie.

But the stories about his strained relationship with Peter and Jane are well-known. But they all made up before he died; Peter and Jane speak very fondly about their father now, at the end they were all good.

It's pretty fucking sad how a man can go through his whole life and be that distant from his children. I can't fucking  imagine that. Sure, many rich celebrities spend a lot of time away from their kids due to the demands of their work, but to be that emotionally distant? that's crazy

I agree, and even more harder to believe when you watch him in movies where he plays good, likeable characters and realise he was sort of a c*** in real life.

I think Peter Sellers was like that too.
