The NPR program "Fresh Air" had a show on Feb. 2nd with two segments: "Appreciating the Music of Ennio Morricone" and "History of Westerns with Christopher Frayling".

Thanks very much for the link, Scarabaeus.
It was strangely engaging to listen to that review from 11 years ago (!), which the network had dusted off and replayed because of Morricone's February concert in NYC, and to see how ridiculously far afield it was from the actual program of that evening's event.
Suffice to say, the Maestro certainly doesn't perform "Navaho Joe" these days! ;)
