Title: God in Heaven... Arizona on Earth (Dio in cielo...Arizona in terra)(1972)

Peter Lee Lawrence is Arizona, who goes back to the (native?) town (his father was living and killed there) and revenges himself on the man who rules the land and who's trying to get ahold of all.
I can't but agree totally with the italian db reviews which dubs the movie as mediocre, full of you've seen it already stuff. What is expecially bothering is the fact that the ruling boss never gives the impression of being powerful, due no doubt to the scarce means available to the production. What makes an impression is the unusual architectures (none of which I have seen before) and Lawrence's and Braņa's usual solid performances.

I like him.

A lot hate him for the same reason they hate Gemma. Too clean shaven.
I don't mind this at all.
Gemma is a grade A sw actor.
Lawrence less so.

I don't think I even know who he was before I started watching systematically these movies. But as he's playing the ungrateful part of the good, clean looking boy, I must admit he does it as lightly as you can. Expecially in the mawkish courtship scenes, he manages to keep a solid appearance brilliantly. Gemma, expecially in his first movies, wasn't so clever: he laughed too much, kept his eyes well open too much, did everything to persuade the viewer that he was young and naive. Lawrence just plays his part.

I watched Garringo today(also starring Anthony Steffen) which stars Lawrence as this schizophrenic character who takes out revenge for his fathers murder on army officers and to be honest he did a good job of it and his menacing steely gaze fitted the part quite well so i  was surprised.
