Title: A Long Ride From Hell (Vivo per la tua morte)(1967)

Arizona Colts review:-

LONG RIDE FROM HELL was a real treat and well worth your time. Steve Reeves stars in his only spag and it's sad that he didn't do more. There are some great set pieces to be found here and lots of violent action as well. Reeves is framed for a train massacre and gold robbery and he and his brother who were chasing the same men who had stolen his horses, are put into Yuma Prison. Reeves eventually escapes and goes after the men who framed him. Lots of familiar faces like Aldo Sambrell fill out the cast. Definitely recommended.

This earns a unanimous huzzah at IMDB and I can't but agree with the accolade. This would easily earn a 8\10 if not for two reasons which make me assign it only a 7\10:
1) My copy was a n'th generation recording from TV. Which is good anyway for following the story but not enough to appreciate the landscapes and the images (still I presume they must be well chosen and well shot).
2) In the finale the willain gives the usual chance to come again from under to the hero.

But until then this revenge story is nothing short of perfect, based as it is only on action. The plot has Steve Reeves (better looking performing than his peplums, expecially because he has got ridden of that beard and his torso doesn't look pumped up) unjustly framed with his younger brother for a heist of a train and sent to Yuma penitentiary. From which he escapes seeking for revenge.
As said, the rhythm never falters, the actors are very good (especially Pazzafini and Sambrell: never mind the roles assigned to them at IMDB they're all wrong) and Rosalba Neri is sexy as usual.
Don't miss it!

Bothersome, yes , but had he killed him we wouldn't have the great fist fight that closes the picture O0
