The plot is nothing special. Dean Reed is called in a small town to discover who stole money from the local bank. Very soon it is apparent that there's a sole responsible (Peter Martell) behind this and other crimes and we are led to the final confrontation with gimmick.
The movie is enlivened by Reed's performance. He's a kind of poor (well, not so poor) man's Roger Moore, he has good athletic qualities and can do some tricks with guns. He is shown as a playboy, doing a kind of triangle with two women, he's dressed as a dandy (some of the costumes seen in this movie are different from usual and they have a good chromatic effect. Also the interiors are sometime, if not original, at least expensive). All in all you watch it to the end comfortably, though I doubt one will give it a second chance.
