It is. It later came to my mind.

Regrettaby no

Still 4 remaining - all four have trailers available via IMDB's website - in Robert Redford's trailer, he is wearing the same jacket

Bette Davis - one of her best known films

Picture of John Lennon in the background? Who would have such photos on their walls?

Robert Redford - not Horse Whisperer - I seem to be on my own in thinking that was a good film

Amazing young actress - music by Elmer Bernstein - I must see this again soon

Say, what happened to this guy mal247?

He got fed up with the negativity of a few board members.

No, sorry, he changed his name to shades ... his wife moaned about him being on the computer all day ... he deleted his account ... saw that TB had been nominated as a mod ... rejoined ... the thread was deleted .. now he is a lowly road apple   :'(

Thanks for asking anyway - I don't think he ever aspired to being a bounty killer.  O0

And 18 is Almost Famous which is more ironic than you will ever know.

You're right Ben - that would have been more appropriate.  Regrettably I couldn't do much about it - it was based on a daft idea I had to link one of my youtube videos to the chart of top posters at SLWB.  It seemed to go down quite well at the time.

Well, I would have liked it if I'd actually seen the movie used to represent me, but I won't complain too much. :D

BTW Shades - please tell me your sig is from "The Leopard", and I'm not just going daft.

I was thinking of doing another one but wondered if anyone was interested and what theme members would prefer.  A western themed one might be a bit easy but I could try - a musicals one might not be very appealing - perhaps something non specific would be better.

One for!

It's all good by me, but I think something non-specific would work better. It's your call.

Why is there my name here? is the movie supposed to represent myself?

No, it's just a game.
You only have to guess the title of the movie that's shown under your nickname. The number given to each member in the game, is the position that one has on the posts scale of the members list.

The movie is randomly selected I think.

It's actually based on a clip on YouTube, made for members of this board, and the films are seleceted because of the numbers, because in each scene represented a number is said.

Ah yeah, marmota's right.
In the selected scenes from movies they say a (your) number. (This will be hard to do the next time shades.)

Neither have I. Which is why I'm angry on myself, because I didn't go there when they showed it in the film club at Grammar School... >:( (The film I have there is Citizen Kane, if I remember right...)

One with just westerns, whether it be spaghetti or American or wherever, might be cool.  Boardwalk Angel had a clip she did in the last 2 or 3 years of all kinds of AW and SW photos to the tune of "A Gringo Like Me" and the theme song for "The Virginian" I believe.  That was really cool and showed what could be done.  :)

If you post a couple of good posts in Jon0 style, let's say in a topic in the GBU section, that have absolutely nothing to do with the subject of discussion, and include drinking/smoking/throwing up anecdotes, I shall personally stand out for you. It's a promise.
