Title: The Cheyenne Social Club (1970)
Post by: cigar joe on October 25, 2007, 08:51:59 PM
Dir. Jean Kelly with:

 James Stewart ...  John O'Hanlan
 Henry Fonda ...  Harley Sullivan
 Shirley Jones ...  Jenny
Sue Ane Langdon ...  Opal Ann
 Elaine Devry ...  Pauline
Robert Middleton ...  Barkeep (Great Plains Saloon)
 Arch Johnson ...  Marshal Anderson
Dabbs Greer ...  Jedediah W. Willowby
 Jackie Russell ...  Carrie Virginia
 Jackie Joseph ...  Annie Jo
 Sharon DeBord ...  Sara Jean
Robert J. Wilkie ... Cory Bannister

This is a fun Western that is entertaining, Henry Fonda does a great job in this as James Stewart's not that bright side-kick. He has a long monolog on the trail between Texas & Wyoming thats pretty hilarious, check it out I won't give away the story, its on netflix.

I first thought it was a joke when i saw your post in the "rate the last movie you watched" topic, since i had at first read : "The Cheyenne Social Club :  a fun western with Fonda and Robard".

ok fixed the year.

Read today that Sue Ann Langdon said it was originally a bit more risque and Kelly cut some of the film to fit Jimmy Stewarts screen persona better.

Just rewatched this, there are definitely some breasts (Elaine Devry's) in one sequence with Stewart, there may be more .
