Better of what I expected. A linear plot which never lets good rhythm abate by a succession of good action scenes with original twist (see the death of Baldassarre) and good editing. A gang takes a town as hostage to rob a diligence. The post officer get after them and, with the help (to a point) of a foolish character gets the booty back.
The main character is surprisingly well performed by Wayde Preston. I never had particularly noticed him in the other SW he was in, probably because he didn't have a   relevant part there or because I was distracted. Unfortunately the secondary parts are not as well played (i don't like the actors playing the gang leader and the blonde), except maybe for the fool. I also don't understand some scenes (how does Preston escapes from jail; where does the gang get money from, as we are told that the money is in the wagon but we don't see the place where it was hidden).
So this gets a 6\10
