Title: The Only Good Indian (2008)
Post by: Tucumcari Bound on February 03, 2008, 11:06:16 AM

A new western set in early 1900's Kansas about a Native American boy who is taken from his family to attend a distant Indian "training" school to assimilate into White society. The film stars Wes Studi, an actor I love...

Here's the IMDB homepage of the film...

Looks like a movie that is going to be hard to find in theaters, but it does look/sound interesting. :)

Oh I agree. This may be just a limited release if that. I'm just happy another western is being made. Hopefully it at least has a good story to work with.

The plot seems to suggest a rather ploddish TV movie.
