Title: Rampage at Apache Wells (Danza di guerra per Ringo)(1965)
Post by: Arizona Colt on May 10, 2008, 07:14:50 PM
Recorded this off Encore Western Channel based on the synopsis alone. Looked at a bit of it the other night and thought something was odd about it...the film looked dubbed. Turned out to be another in the 'Winnetou' series. Stewart Granger plays Old Surehand here. Made a DVD-R of the film. Fullscreen only, though. Anyone else seen this one?

This is the first german western I ever saw, featuring Pierre Brice as Winnetou. More or less what I expected: standard tv story, standard characters, beautiful sceneries and a very good Stewart Granger (I like his ways with the Winchester) which make the vision tolerable. Terence Hill is still Girotti and blackhaired.  6\10

Decent movie so far. I copied it off the western channel some time back. English dubbed. There's a thread for it already somewhere on here. It was okay what I watched of it.
