Title: The Duchess & The Dirtwater Fox (1976)
Post by: cigar joe on June 24, 2008, 06:46:14 AM
Not great not bad mildly entertaining its now the fourth film of the 70's that contains a music video sequence, the others are Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid, The Life & Times of Judge Roy Bean, The Ballad of Cable Houge. Funny long titles in westerns seem to equal music video.  8)

Anyway lots of Goldie Hawn on display in skimpy outfits.

A couple of good gags and a second half better than the first one, when the chemistry between segal and hawn starts working. 6\10

Did you catch the modern electric street lamps in the background of some of the town sequences.

I sensed something was not in order in the SF exteriors but I didn't investigate. What struck me more was all the brick buildings and not a single wooden one, which was something I had seen till this only in some lesser SW.
