Title: The Bridges at Toko-Ri (1954)
Post by: tucumcari bound on August 22, 2008, 12:05:56 AM

Set during the Korean War, a Navy fighter pilot (William Holden) must come to terms with with his own ambivalence toward the war and the fear of having to bomb a set of highly defended bridges. The ending of this grim war drama is all tension.

This is a superb film. An excellent look into the Korean war and Naval Aviation. This film is another reason why William Holden is one of my absolute favorite actors. He's great to watch. The last act is full of tention and is unpredictable.
