Title: Robert Mitchum - D*ck Cavett Show (1971)
Post by: Tucumcari Bound on September 16, 2008, 02:08:23 AM
I know there's a few Robert Mitchum fans here so I thought I'd post this great interview. Watch "Joe Cool" work this interview to perfection. What a legend. Enjoy!

Thanks for this TB, I'll get around to it when I can. I like Mitchum and love Cavett's show.

LVC had a small stint on the Cavett show as well. Never seen the interview but somebody at the SWWB was talking about it.
Cavett's show was an excellent late night talk show. As much as I like Conan (can't stand Letterman or Leno. Craig Ferguson is pretty cool though!) but I must admit no time is spent with the celebrities (which in some cases is a good thing since most of the celebs we have now ideas are bores to listen to).

Oh, sorry about that Groggy. I fixed my original post. I originally posted this on the the Stallone Zone and copied and pasted it here.

You're welcome FC. You're going to love this interview. Robert Mitchum was really an original. And, you're right about Cavett. He could really give a great interview. Very entertaining man and funny at times. He's much better than Letterman and Leno.
