Title: Okay, sceriffo (1964)

As I wrote in another topic, there was in Italy, in the 60's, an evening "commercial show", where the ads where  preceded by a mini-show of 2-3 minutes. A series which started in 1963 was produced to commercialize a trademark of salame, the jingle words doing a connection between the star of the sheriff defending the law and the star which was the logo of the factory producing these salami defending quality. The stories were about the "silver valley sheriff", aided by a semi-idiot and a boy. All in pre-Leone style of course. The success of Fistful was so huge that somebody thought about putting together the shows minus the ads. The result was a short movie of about 50 minutes, judging from the anica files. But the version released recently on dvd it's about 15 minutes shorter. I wonder how it was distributed. There was a very rare vhs of this about which I can't say anything. Shot in b\w, it is maybe interesting for some scenery I never saw afterwards in the SW's  shot in Italy. In facts it must have been shot near Cigar Joe's ancestral home, in Brescia and Bergamo, northern Italy.
