Title: spaghetti western orchestra
Post by: oldfeller on November 03, 2008, 05:28:27 AM
Anybody catch the the Australian quintett Spaghetti Western Orchestra ( www.spaghettiwesternorchestra.com) currently on Tour in U.S.? Any comments?  Also BBCRadio4 had a good programme on Morricone with Sir Christopher Frayling visiting Morricone . Don't have the link but I am sure if you go to BBC website you will find.  ... quote from Morricone minder to Sir CF ..."Dont't mention the Spaghetti.."

I'm going this Saturday night, in Arizona.  We've got 2nd row seats, wife's birthday.  Apparently they also sell their CD there.

Yep, that was a great experience, for sure.

I have read that the Spaghetti Western Orchestra has stopped touring, likely has disbanded.  Fall 2014.

A full concert is on Youtube, from Royal Albert Hall in London.
