Title: The Bounty Hunter (1954)

Stars Randolph Scott.
I had never heard of it before.
Haven't seen it but it seems pretty badass!
It was shot in 3D but released in flat.
According to the Wikipedia description it may be a western in which Leone got some of his inspiration from.

If he had some inspiration it was only for the opening written statement about the bounty hunters. The rest is a mediocre western cum whodunit serial style. 4\10

I'm pretty sure Frayling makes the connection in Something To Do With Death.

Yeah Frayling definitely has mentioned this movie in connection with FAFDM, so I finally got around to seeing it (rented it on iTunes cuz the dvd is unavailable on Netflix).

5.5/10

It is a run-of-the-mill, straightforward simple story. Nothing special whatsoever to distinguish it. It moves quickly and never bores you, though it never gets you all that interested, either.
