Title: North West Mounted Police (1940)

Not as good as Unconquered, like that one, it is shot almost completely in the studios and has the same great colours and good acting performances.  If the Chaney-Tamiroff fun (read: moronic) parts had been removed and put a bit more of the half-breed theme development (especially in the Paulette Goddard-Robert Preston relationship) a greater result would have been achieved. Still it earns a 6\10.

I vaguely remember this one, I'd have to revisit it to comment.
