Title: The First Trailer
Post by: cigar joe on April 30, 2010, 06:06:47 PM
Leone’s depiction of the “Omnibus Robbery” in “Duck You Sucker” (Once Upon A Time The Revolution) is probably a Western first, at least I haven’t heard from fellow aficionados of any other yet depicted in a Western, so we can for the moment say that it possibly is, it may also be the longest stage holdup on film, but its aftermath is what is of interest next.

The film first focuses on the initial meeting and confrontation between Juan & John, resulting in a hole in John’s motorcycle tire and a hole in Juan’s roof. Juan goes out to fix John’s bike tire and exhausted John falls asleep.

We see next the Miranda bandit family’s transformation of the omnibus into for all intends and purposes a “trailer”, with a stove pipe jutting out of the hole in the roof, spewing black smoke, ornately ridiculous, what can only be called patio furniture, with  even a period brass portable stove standing in for a “grill” could this be an unintended but amusing depiction of what we’d refer to today as trailer “folk”  They had moved the omnibus to a whole new location and set up the camp without wakening John.

The long-awaited trailer for the third-attempt at the American version of is finally here. As you'll remember, NBC shot a pilot of Top Gear, but never aired it and quickly canceled the show after the failure of Knight Rider. http://www.edhardytime.com/  (http://www.edhardytime.com/)Earlier this year they'd announced they'd try again and moved it to History, substituting comedian Adam Ferrara for Adam Carolla, and Rutledge Wood for Eric Strommer. They kept Tanner Foust.
