I dare ya to watch and see what happens after the boys shoot down the pictures of Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini, and I dare ya to try to figure out all the whats, and whys.

The only reason to mention this in the history books is because it might just be the earliest example of an "East Meets West" picture, beating out The Silent Stranger by over two decades.

Sure it takes place during WWII but a lot of these serials took place in the year they were released and a lot of these rural eras hadn't changed much since the turn of the century.

As for the movie itself... it sucks.
To be fair, I couldn't get past the ventriloquist dummy.

Though I fear something of it remained buried in my subconsciousness, and now yours. Time will tell how much.
