There is something very heartwarming about Italian footballers crying, beautiful, beaten by their favourite pastime, cheating.

All together now  CIAO CIAO ITALIA....

Sorenson, great game.

« on: March 25, 2004, 10:08:53 AM »
watched the audio commentary version last night, Christopher Fraylings comments were riveting, but the next bloke sent me to bed, I might be doing him an injustice, I'll try again sometime, didnt get as far as the other experts but cant help thinking Frayling should have done it all.

Djimbo
check out A Proffesional Gun, also Franco Nero, or the two Terence Hill Trinitys', they're pretty good and could change your opinion of non Leone SW's. Or even Django Kill for a bit of ultra violence.

Battle of Algiers, Film Four tonight at midnight in UK.
Italian director Pontecorvo and a great Morricone score.
You've probably all seen it anyway...

I have a great book on Peckinpah, cant remember what it's called or who it's by, but I think it's a BFI book, I'll have a look for it, it's a great read.
