I can't believe no-on ehas mentioned the greatest floor of all. When they were showing the clips of the  films he's worked on, and when the good, the bad and the ugly came on, it was Hugo Montinegro's version, not ennio's. Did no-one else find this a disgrace.

I'm also a huge clint fan, but i thought he was lazy and was a bit cocky about the whole think when he was introducing the segment, he only made up for it when he was interpreting what ennio said, but to be honest i thought that was a bit embarring as well when he was talking and some of the people in the order just didn't care and were looking baffled.

Kate Winslet face was the worst, she was quinting as if she he had no idea who he was, even though her film the holiday references ennio's music numerous times.

It's a shame, the mans a legend and it's well deserved, and the only man worthy of giving him the honour is clint eastwood, i just thought it lacked class thats all.

I'm only 24, so i haven't seen the original theatrical versions either. But the first version i ever watched was from the tv in the mid 1980's off ITV i think. And i must have watched this since i was about 5 or 6 years old, and that scene does ring a bell. I can visually picture clint struggling to move the big barrel and then rolling it down. I think initially clint is trying to smash open the door with the barrell, but then brega turns up with his mate.
It could be possible thats i've imagined all this, but it does ring a bell.
It would be funny if it never existed, but i think it might have done.

Ennio Morricone / Re: Ennio Morricone 19/7/06 London Concert

Yeah i did, my train tickets were no refundable and would have cots me £80 to change the date of them to december 1st, because the timetable are only set till october, don't get me started.

So me and our lass went down to london for a night, which was a nice break i suppose.

It could have been worse, because on the train down when i was getting off at kings cross, i heard someone mention sergio leone, and the man who was sat next to this couple when he was getting off said "nice to meet, you, and enjoy your concert tonight." So when i was getting off i politely aksed them if they were going to see ennio morricone tonight and they said with smiley faces, "yeah, we are." Only for their smiles to be wiped off when i said "so you don;t know it's been cancelled then and moved to december?"

Save to say they weren't happy, but thanked me for letting them know anyway.

They did ask me how i knew, and i told them that ticketmaster has phoned me and informed me, and i also recieved an email from them.

It's shockng really, 2 days before a concert and cancelling it, with no explanation. Juts my luck and ennio will die in september or something and i'll never get to see him, he is 84.

Did anyone else actually go the concert only to find out it was cancelled?

Last year I dont remember the World Cup being mentioned at all but this year I have heard some buzz from the local news.
Maybe next year it will be even bigger. Quein Sabe?

Thats funny, i don't mean to have a go, but you do just remind me of the 2 american so called presenters on the budweiser adverts at the start of itv's coverage of the world cup this year.

The world cup is every 4 years, thats why you won't have heard anything last year, ha.

I don't know anything about the world series or american football, really so we are about even.

I heard a funny joke from chubby brown the other day, saying that america only win the baseball world series is becuase they don't let other countries play in it, ha, and the reason they aren't very good at football is because other countries play.

It just made me laugh that was all.

Each to their own, but i feel sorry for americans not being given the chance to really embrace the greatest game of all, they just don't know enough about it, it's not there fault.

dear god please help me is the best song on the album i think, i'm not a smiths or  ,orrissey fan, but that song is quite nice, even though i do think morriocne contribution is quite tame really, it isn't as orchestral as i thought it would be, it's quite and starts to come in about 3 minutes into the song

still nice though
