Here are bunch of photos I took at the station in June this year and also the Tucumcari location from For a Few Dollars More, no railway tracks at that location now just the embankment. http://www.panoramio.com/user/6149484

Thanks for the comment, apologies for late response have been in Spain, taking lots more photos.
The download file is a KML file that contains all of the location data that is needed by Google Earth to display the locations, ie. title, coordinates, photo links etc. Its just a text file containing XML. In fact you can open it in text editor and view it
Double clicking on it will launch Google Earth, alternatively from within Google Earth you can click on File ... Open ... then choose the KML file.
However if you really don't want to open the KML file then just use the Google Map alternative option on the Virtual Tours page.

I took this photo last month at Guadix. I'm sure that next time even more will have been demolished!

Excellent detective work Régis, I was watching the movie two night ago and was wondering about that location.

Thanks Mike.
As far as the Witchfinder locations were concerned they haven't changed since 1968, more cars maybe!
In Spain the clues tend to be what's going on in the background, any mountains, hills or other landmarks that don't change much over time. Of course these days with the internet it a lot easier with lots of location sites and resources. With Google maps you can virtually visit a lot of these locations, which saves a lot of time once you get there.

So far most of my location hunting has been in Spain, so I though it was about time that I visited some locations on my doorstep, Witchfinder General was primarily shot in Suffolk and Norfolk in the East of England and I've put together this short video Witchfinder Locations Video

Great work Regis, if I'd taken my wife there I'd be hanging from that tree in Sad Hill!

You can see the castle in the movie The Wind and The Lion, with Sean Connery and Aldo Sambrell.

About 200 members of the Facebook group Salvemos el Cortijo del Fraile (Save the Cortijo del Fraile) met at the cortijo today. Lots of local press attended and articles appearing already. Hopefully some good will come from this and will raise awareness of the poor state of the building. Here's one example of the news stories with some video. To let you know I've uploaded a new video to YouTube of the Cortijo del Fraile (Indio's Agua Caliente hideout & San Antonio Mission) The cortijo is in a very bad state now with many parts collapsed and the main chapel in danger of going the same way. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=laCeJEFR2RQ
