Ennio Morricone / Re: Looking for a site for short incidental tunes for cellphone text notifications« on: April 02, 2012, 01:46:50 PM »
Here's a zip file containing little wav audio files I did long time ago from cutting Morricone songs and also from a few guns/horses sounds found on the internet. I used those sounds to replace the Windows event sounds of my computer. It did fit very well with my desktop picture of Monument Valley! You may find interesting sounds in there. Most of them are very short.

Yeah... Sorry... I only thought about that after posting the link. But they often put up exerpts on their YouTube Channel. If they don't put this one up, I might put it my channel. I'll check it out.

General Discussion / A little parody...« on: March 15, 2012, 07:49:20 PM »
Yesterday, I was watching one of my favorite TV shows (don't judge me, please... LOL!) and they did a little Leone parody! I thought a few here would like to see... It's in french but people from France probably won't understand a word...
![]() The host starts asking the other guy about his love for spaghetti western movies at 5:50 and the parody itself starts at 6:20. http://vtele.ca/videos/un-gars-le-soir/jean-nicolas-verreault-dans-le-garage-du-king_41956.php 8

There's a good quality DivX version floating around on Peer-to-Peer networks. Try eMule.

My favorite musician is guitar great Al Di Meola!
I'm into these artists/bands: Zappa, Mr Bungle, Bob Brozman, Mike Keneally, KISS, The Beatles, Dream Theater, Ludwig Van Beethoven, Brian Setzer Orchestra, Steve Vai, and the list could go on forever... ![]() I'm also a huge 60's surf music fan! 11

Does anyone know about those great compilations of surf bands covering spaghetti western themes?
Spaghetti - Duck You Sucker Spaghetti II - Revenge Spaghetti III - See Ya In Hell It's rare stuff but if you can get your hands on these, you won't regret! http://www.instromania.net/LAB/One%20Million%20Dollar.html 12

For those of you who are late, I don't have the rar files anymore but if you want to download the whole avi file from me, you can find me on SoulSeek (a P2P network, www.slsknet.org). Put Picabo in your users list and send me a message if I'm online. Due to limited bandwidth, I'm only gonna give it to the TWO FIRST persons asking.

It does a great job but it was a little expensive (DVP-520). There are now least expensive players reading PAL-NTSC all regions DVD's and some of them even read the DivX format.

I live in a small appatment so I couldn't really have something bigger than my 32" Zenith TV.
I have a Panasonic Region 1 NTSC DVD player and I later bought a Malata region free PAL/NTSC player. However, I still have the Panasonic because it's better at reading mp3's. |
