Heres a trailer - https://youtu.be/5hfAExhHTMM Bradley Thomas (Vince Vaughn) gets laid off as a truck driver and decides the only way to get his wife (Jennifer Carpenter) and future daughter a good life is quick money as a drug courier. Things go good till a deal goes bad and Bradley ends up in a medium security prison. A drug kingpin takes his wife hostage and the only way she'll go free is if Bradley heads off to Redleaf Maximum Security, run by Warden Tuggs (Don Johnson), and kills a prisoner named Christopher Bridge. Directed by S. Craig Zahler, who did Bone Tomahawk, and what a crazy ridiculous movie this is. As long as you sit back and enjoy the ride then you'll have a good time at what the movie shows off towards the end of it.

Remake of the 1974 Micheal Winner film starring Charles Bronson. Here's the TrailerJoe Carnahan (Narc, The A-Team, The Grey) writes it with Eli Roth (Cabin Fever, Hostel, Knock Knock) directing and Bruce Willis playing Paul Kersey. My opinion is that the trailer sure looks bad. I could care less about the politics but watching Bruce Willis just go around and killing people seems like the least interesting movie that has been made many times before.

Whether its a complete rip or homage to Hitchcock is for the indivdual to decide but I absolutely love the film. I know it is not De Palma's best but it's my favorite out of the films I've seen. Thanks to the new Blu ray release, I can finally own this instead of the SD DVD. The score by Pino Donaggio is great as well Youtube Playlist. Here's a scene analysis from the Toronto International Film Festival youtube account https://youtu.be/jExXclbCetc. I don't know if there was another trailer that was made for the film besides this one: Trailer https://youtu.be/CJ8f_8ZvkPs

Paul Verhoeven's latest film Elle. It seems it was popular at the latest Cannes and has some pretty good reviews. The plot from wikipedia reads Michèle LeBlanc seems indestructible. Head of a successful video game company, she brings the same ruthless attitude to her love life as to business. Being attacked in her home by an unknown assailant changes Michèle's life forever. When she resolutely tracks the man down, they are both drawn into a curious and thrilling game-a game that may, at any moment, spiral out of control.

New film from Nicolas Winding Refn. From the plot, maybe it'll be his Mullholland Drive. Jesse, an aspiring model, moves to Los Angeles, where her vitality and youth are devoured by a group of beauty-obsessed women who will use any means to get what she has. Trailer

I've seen a couple of Lean's films but I seemed to have overlooked this one. I tried looking up a topic on it but there doesn't seem to be any. Also, I was looking for a bluray release and the only ONE available is a Region Free import from Spain. So whats the consesus on the film? Thoughts? Opinions? Critics didn't seem to care about it.

A cop in a dystopian Europe investigates a serial killings suspect using controversial methods written by his now disgraced former mentor. TrailerI haven't seen any thread about it so I figured I'd post one. The trailer is terrible but then again I don't think there is anyway to really sell the movie. I tend to re-watch it every couple of months, not so much for the plot but for everything else. I'll upload some pictures from the Criterion DVD when I get a chance.

Red Band Trailer with Intro from Dr.Dre and Ice CubeThe biographical film about controversial rap group N.W.ATrailer looks good to me, be interested in seeing the final product. I am going to assume now that this movie is going to probably end on the death of Eazy E, which will be interesting to see with all the weird conspiracy stuff surrounding his death.
