Film Locations / Mission San Antonio in the news today

About 200 members of the Facebook group Salvemos el Cortijo del Fraile (Save the Cortijo del Fraile) met at the cortijo today. Lots of local press attended and articles appearing already. Hopefully some good will come from this and will raise awareness of the poor state of the building. Here's one example of the news stories with some video.

Film Locations / Sad Hill photo from 38,000 feet
« on: July 15, 2007, 07:28:13 AM »
Whilst flying back on Easyjet from Malaga to London I spotted the Sad Hill and POW camp location from GBU and took some shots.  It doesn't look this close from 38,000 feet, the pictures were taken with an 18X zoom.

You can make out the 3 large trenches that still exist at Carazo at the POW camp location in this close up.

Google map link here too for location details,-3.364048&spn=0.071582,0.115871&t=k&z=13&om=1
