Jill's Theme from a live concert with Cheryl Porter & the Policemen's Orchestra:

With lyrics!!!

It's actually not that bad, if you can ignore the horrible make-up.

Once Upon A Time In The West / Jason Robards -- any interviews?
« on: January 04, 2007, 03:14:53 PM »
I've tried to find interviews with Jason Robards re his involvement in OUATITW. So far I have found none. Do any of you guys know of any such interviews? Preferably online, but library references are OK, too.

Once Upon A Time In The West / Leone's duels
« on: March 13, 2004, 01:07:40 AM »
I just re-saw Kurosawa's "Sanjuro" -- great film.

It got me wondering if the final duel in Sanjuro is the "blueprint" for the duels in Leone's westerns. Long quiet build-up followed by a sudden burst of action, and everything is over within a fraction of second.

It has a fantastic dramatic effect.

Once Upon A Time In The West / The man in the eye

I just want to draw your attention to a blooper. Sorry if this has already been brought up, but I didn't see any notice of this on the IMDB site.

During the extreme (second) close-up of Harmonica, in the duel scene, you can see one of the film crews in Harmonica's left eye (ie. the eye to the right for us), just below the pupil.

Once you've seen it, it's very difficult to ignore it in subsequent viewings.
