Trivia Games / Tuco and 80's Music
« on: February 08, 2004, 06:13:38 PM »
What 80's song featured a sample from GBU, which read Tuco's lengthy list of crimes (see below)?

"Wanted in fourteen counties of this state. The condemned is found guilty of the crimes of murder, armed robbery citizens, state banks and post offices. The theft of sacred objects, arson of a state prison, perjury, bigamy, desserting his wife and children, citing prostitution, kidnapping, extortion, receiving stolen goods, selling stolen goods, passing counterfeit money and contrary to the laws of this state the condemned is guilty of using marked cards in a poker game. Therefore, by the power vested in us, we sentence the accused here before us, tucol benedito pacifico juan maria ramirez, (known as the rat) and any other aliases he might have, to hang by the neck until dead, may God have mercy on his soul, PROCEED."

Off-Topic Discussion / Desert Island Films
« on: January 22, 2004, 03:56:33 PM »
If you were marooned on a desert island, but could take 10 films with you (no more), what ten films would you take.

After much thought this is the list I came up with, and it's quite different from my ten "greatest" films of all time (Citizen Kane and the Seven Samurai are nowhere to be seen here).  You'd want a variety of genres.  You'd want films you could enjoy over and over again.

What would you take with you?

My Desert Island Film List:
1.  Once Upon a Time in the West
2.  Red Dawn
3.  North by Northwest
4.  The Wild Bunch
5.  Dawn of the Dead
6.  True Romance
7.  The Bad News Bears
8.  The Searchers
9.  Chinatown
10.  The Apartment

Not sure how to post an image file, but here's a link to a mildly interesting Yojimbo/Fisful of Dollars poster.

I have not been able to find Morton's Theme music anywhere.  I think his theme music is only played once on the train and a second time during his death scene.

Does anyone have an mp3 of this they could post or know a CD it is available on?
