Hi Everyone:
So sorry that I haven't been around for a long time. Work ended up going nuts, done a few cool features though! Then I had some personal things, some amazing, some terrible. And am now chasing a dream and going back to something else that I'm good at. Anyway glad to see that everyone is still going and that Groggy hasn't obliterated the forum. Will try and be around much more and do my job.

Guys, I am very sorry for the fact that I haven't been around much the last couple of weeks. It's not bad news, far from it but there are a few of you here who know why and all I can do is apologise to the ones who don't and add that for the next couple of weeks my appearances here will be very brief but I will try and keep an eye on things when I possibly can. As ever Banjo is doing a great job. If you have any questions/critiscms etc please don't hesitate to pm me. (Oh yes and I'm going back to NY in August wahoo!!!)

DVD Talk's Savant (Glenn Erickson) wants views on the German Leone's:
I'm reading a significant amount of web talk from very vocal fans of Sergio Leone about the finally-announced R1 releases of Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More and Duck, You Sucker and so am investigating the issues for the upcoming reviews. I'd appreciate input from the Leone Devout, especially those who have seen the R2 German releases.

For a while now there seems to be a rash of multiple accounts of which they're should be none. I know there are a few people with Multiple Accounts and no action will be taken at this present time. If however there are any more multiple accounts created after tonight those accounts will be closed and the members dealt with.

I've just gone through and did some tidying up and have also on a few theads made them sticky's. These will appear at the top of the discussion list and will have a symbol on the left of a piece of paper with a pin in it. These are just threads that have proved to be very popular and have some very interesting infomation. I hope this cuts down time in finding them and will stop the forming of subjects when it is not necessary. If you have any suggestions in which threads should be made sticky please post them here.
Many Thanks

I thought that if there was any discussion of classic Hollywood westerns it should have it's own thread so we don't have 100's cropping up. In starting it off I thought that I post all the classic non Italian westerns in my collection and you guys could do the same and also discuss specific films that you love.
My Classic Western Collection
The Big Trail The Plainsman Dodge City They Died With Their Boots On The Ox-Bow Incident My Darling Clementine Tall In The Saddle Red River Whisperin' Smith Winchester '73 Stagecoach Fort Apache 3 Godfathers She Wore A Yellow Ribbon Rio Grande The Searchers Seagent Rutledge Cheyanne Autumn High Noon Shane Bend Of The River The Far Country The Man From Laramie 7 Men From Now Rio Brave No Name On The Bullet The Magnificent Seven Dallas Springfield Rifle Hang Em High The Commancheros North To Alaska The Undefeated The Naked Spur The Cheyanne Social Club Firecreek The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance The Son's Of Katie Elder El Doraldo True Grit The Shootist Ride The High Country The Wild Buch The Ballad Of Cable Hogue Pat Garett and Billy The Kid Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid Unforgiven Tombstone Open Range
Admittedly are perhaps a bit too modern to be included in the classic canon. There are quite a few more I would like to own, quite a few not out on DVD yet and should be out soon. My top ten favourites out of that bunch are:
The Wild Bunch The Searchers My Darling Clementine Shane The Naked Spur The Far Country Stagecoach High Noon 3 Godfathers Red River
Whats you guys favourites?
