Blondie's Gun« on: January 07, 2019, 08:18:09 PM »But do you have a wrist supporter?None needed as this gun is very heavy and shoots without much recoil, plus Eastwood/Manco only wore the wrist gauntlet in "For A Few Dollars More" and I don't have that gun "yet"! ![]() 5
The Good, The Bad and The Ugly / Pulled the trigger on this!! Blondie's Gun« on: January 02, 2019, 12:43:08 PM »
I've owned a PIETTA Italian made black powder percussion replica of the Colt Navy 1851 .36 caliber octagonal barrel similar to the one
that Blondie uses in the movie for many years (never shot it) , I then acquired a rough mismatched UBERTI Colt Navy 1851 black powder replica with round barrel (incorrect to Blondies gun) that I modified with the silver snakes on the grip (web purchase) for my costume, and finally I just recently pulled the trigger and obtained the Cimarron Firearms "Man With No Name" .38 caliber cartridge conversion pistol with the silver snakes on both sides of the grips (an early release)! A great shooter, heavy weight, not exactly 100% accurate as there is a rear sight attached for us who aren't bounty hunters, so I now have to learn to shoot from the hip now without aiming . Looks to be a great 2019 at the range, "$200,000 dollars is a lot of money, we're gonna have to earn it". ![]() 6

Rest in Peace Mr. Wallach
![]() Tuco Pacifico Juan Maria Ramirez is now laid to rest at Sad Hill Cemetery. It would be fitting that Ecstacy of Gold be played at his funeral as Eli's life was surely a golden one. 13
The Good, The Bad and The Ugly / Wandering Gunman halloween costume« on: November 09, 2013, 04:05:10 PM »
Now that the Halloween season is over there are discount sales on costumes, perhaps you've seen this costume, it' SMIFFY'S Wandering Gunman with included poncho, vest with faux shirt and neck scarf.
Here are some pictures. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I purchased a medium, the poncho is a thin lightweight see thru in direct light material, the stripes are airbrushed/painted/silkscreened on, the underside is not as sharp, not sure if they just did one side and the under surface is bleed thru, some areas are very weak. The worst part is the fringe at the bottom. not ropes but too many dangling flat nylon strips with a horizontal white nylon band across the bottom edges. Medium measures 4'5" long, by 4'8" wide, could be longer, the large and xtra large size is only 1" longer according to the size chart. The bottom edge (not fringes) comes to just below my pants crotch area, I'm 5'11. The shirt and vest are attached, the vest shows faux sheepskin in front and around the edges with the back of the vest being a printed looking leather but it is dyed polyester and thin, the blue striped shirt is sewn onto the vest, , looks like the shirt can be cut off if one wanted to use just the vest and their own shirt. The vest is actually nice if one doesnt want to find an authentic one. This is a decent cheap "Man with no name" costume especially if you don't want to spend the time effort or much money to seek out parts that are more accurate. 14
The Good, The Bad and The Ugly / Did you ever notice Tuco's boots.....« on: November 02, 2013, 06:44:12 PM »
After Tuco walks out of the desert his boots are all torn up and his toes are visible on both feet. He actually stomps out the fire with his toes exposed
to the coals. You would think that after the trip to the gun shop and after the meeting in the cave he would have gotten himself a decent pair of boots?? ![]() http://img36.imageshack.us/img36/6382/d5vu.jpg 15
The Good, The Bad and The Ugly / Re: 1:1 Eastwood bust« on: October 28, 2012, 11:58:36 AM »
The b/w image I believe is the initial sculpt before the silicone mold was poured, thus no beard, however look at the hat leather band on the b/w vs the finished bust. The tooling is more correct on the b/w shot, also Blondie had an octagonal barrel on his Colt Navy 1851. And I do see what appears to be some brown on the poncho, hopefully the topside is the faded dirty brownish color and while flipped over his shoulder it shows it's original green hue.
