Once Upon A Time In America / Help identifying a song?
« on: May 21, 2004, 03:15:11 AM »
I'm trying to locate a song that seems pretty popular over the years as being inserted here and there into tv shows or little spots as a western sounding tune.  It's currently the theme song for the PS2 game "Red Dead Revolver".  To hear the song, you can go to the Red Dead Revolver website right here:

http://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadrevolver/RDR.swf

I'm sure it's by Ennio Morricone and in one of the Sergio Leone films, I just sure can't figure out what movie.  If anyone could go to that site and listen to the song, and identify the name of it for me I would GREATLY appreciate it.

For those who are too lazy to go to the website, the best way I can describe the song is, it starts off with just a guy whistling for the first very short verse.  The next verse is the same thing, except it's a trumpet.  It's a slow paced showdown type song with a very soft guitar strumming in the back.  Other than that, it's just the whistling, then the trumpet.

Thanks a lot guys.
