interesting. why is that? just curious is all.
I find BFTG to be a fun, fierce, and tricky roller coaster ride of a movie. As for TGS, I find it to be dull, drab, and highly over rated. The snow's pretty, for sure, but I'd rather rewatch BFTG anyday.

I gave it "good". It's just not a favorite of mine.

I'd say Django is overrated as well as The Great Silence. Practically every review I've read of The Great Silence makes it out to be "the best non-Leone SW ever", and I just don't agree. Of the two, I like Django much more.

well, it seems like I'm at odds with the rest of the group here, uh? Byrds masterpiece is Younger than Yesterday. Triad is the weakest song penned by Crosby.
I like Younger Than Yesterday quite a bit, but I feel TNBB was a step further. It comes off as a bit of a concept album, which I generally like.

Well i must be a philistine myself because i've plumbed for Four Of The Apocalypse which i am sure is largely influenced by one of my favourite albums of the sixties The Notorious Byrd Brothers!!!
YES! The Notorius Byrd Brothers is my favorite Byrds album and one of my all-time favorites as well. I absolutely love the sounds and mood they created on that album. Especially "Wasn't Born To Follow", "Draft Morning" and "Change Is Now". Great stuff! The Rain Parade, an early 80's american band, made great music that was obviously influenced by TNBB.

Here it is folks! The showdown of the century. What'll it be? I say "Four of The Apocalypse", but what do I know? I'm a philistine!

I give it a "good". As much as I love the movie, the score is not one of my favorites.

ESSENTIAL! Hey Banjo, how about a Keoma score poll?

It felt a little corny in retrospect.

I'm going Lugosi on any Dracula war we might have here, but Lee is great and I've always loved the Hammer films. The new 8-movie Hammer Series "The Franchise Collection" release is excellent, and I highly recommend it.

Damn CJ, you just brought back a flood of memories! I've got several of the old Meef comics by Sheridan and Shrier. I remember Mr. Rubbernast, and when I first saw Beetlejuice, I thought Burton had to have been influenced by that stuff.
One line I remember from a Meef comic in particular that always got me laughing: "Why don't they make '57 Chevy's anymore?"
Damn good surreal as hell stuff.
