121  Films of Sergio Leone / The Good, The Bad and The Ugly / Unfair shootout! on: January 07, 2005, 04:28:07 PM
Angel Eyes was not very smart in the shootout!  It looks as if he was on the short sides of an almost
"A-squared" + "B-squared"= C-squared triangle.
Blondie and Tuco did not have to worry about shooting at each other, they were too far away so they both concentrated on Angel Eyes. Angel Eyes should have spaced himself equally to have a chance!
122  Films of Sergio Leone / The Good, The Bad and The Ugly / GBU "Sly & Robbie" theme version on: January 06, 2005, 05:42:53 PM
Several years ago while in Atlantic City NJ, Lennox Lewis was fighing and he walked into the ring with this version of the theme loudly playing, it was great I had to get a copy. I searched until I finally found it.  It''s on "Sly and Robbie" "Mambo Taxi" CD.

I''ve uploaded it to a free hosting site. Click the link if active or copy and paste it into a new window.
You will get to a site and half way down below the line you will see a "Download Ticket reserved timer", wait until it gets to zero, then up will pop "DOWNLOAD:GoodBadandtheUgly.wma" click on this to play or right click to save!  p.s. is slightly over 2MB large so your download may be slow depending on your internet connection.

125  Films of Sergio Leone / The Good, The Bad and The Ugly / Re: Cemetery scene error/find/anomaly/question? on: January 04, 2005, 06:57:34 PM
It wasn''t meant as a strick nitpick, I just thought it was an interesting aspect to  figure out the shooting/filming sequence...

and no matter how many "errors" are found, it still is, in my opinion and many others, the greatest film of all time!
126  Films of Sergio Leone / The Good, The Bad and The Ugly / Cemetery scene error/find/anomaly/question? on: January 04, 2005, 05:28:19 PM
When Tuco is searching for ARCH STANTON''s grave site he passes it early in his search when he reaches the middle of the circle. To see this you need to know the layout of 3 graves. UNKNOWN is in the middle, to it''s right is ARCH STANTON''s grave (with the tree behind it) and to the left of  UNKNOWN is "FOSTER, JOHN"(to the left of the white gravestone). To the right of all 3 is a tall large stone obelisque. When Tuco passes this site while searching you will notice (see the top picture) that the "thin" UNKNOWN cross is pulled out of the ground and laying partially down to the right of the tree, not in the middle, and that one of the 2 coffin lids is propped up blocking out some of the sites view. FOSTER, JOHN is in it''s place but ARCH STANTON''s is missing. One of two thing during  filming occured. 1) the gold digging  grave scene site was NOT set-up yet while Tuco is searching (meaning the UNKNOWN cross was not put in its place and the coffins not covered yet) or 2) it was filmed after the grave digging, and shootout, but before Tuco was placed on the UNKNOWN cross after the shootout. Why, the cross was changed, made bigger, thicker, stronger, so Tuco could stand on it!

You have to watch some of  this on your computer and view the specific scenes frame by frame. Please review and let me know what you guys think!

132  Films of Sergio Leone / The Good, The Bad and The Ugly / Re:"every gun has its own tune" on: February 21, 2003, 02:19:56 PM
I made an error in the quote it is
"every gun makes its own tune"

133  Films of Sergio Leone / The Good, The Bad and The Ugly / "every gun has its own tune" on: February 21, 2003, 11:05:45 AM
after Tuco's bathtub scene, Blondie says "every gun has its own tune" however you can clearly see that his lips are not saying these words, so  it must have been dubed in later. Anyone know what was originally said? any lip readers?? play it with the volume off and try!
134  Films of Sergio Leone / The Good, The Bad and The Ugly / the way back to town is only 70 miles??? on: February 07, 2003, 06:43:47 PM
I never understood this, does Blondie mean the same town they just came from (where he saved tuco) or another town? If its the same town how is Tuco still tied up with the noose around his neck after 70 miles on horseback...how many hours would that be?? Is Blondie ferring to another town, since Tuco wouldn' t be welcome in the one he was just hanged.
