Ok, thanks.

Thanks once again CJ!

I spotted a dot on the NG Civil War map - east of Organ Mountains -
marked San Augustin Springs, so it is most likely the San Augustin Ranch/Springs on the 1859 map.

Does that map say what other kinds of roads there are, for example the one marked with short lines
and the one that looks like a Morse code signal, with a line and two dots?

Those maps are great.

Iīm curious about three of the locations on the second map on page 2 and i hope someone can
can tell me a little bit about them.
Two of them lies east of the San Andres mountains and the third one east of
the Organ mountains:

The place marked "Tres Hermanos" sounds like it could be some rock formation, a landmark.

The second one is right below, "Ojo St Nicholas", and has a marked spot which
maybe indicates a settlement of some kind.

And the third one is a bit further down, an unmarked spot with four road connections.
Iīm guessing it could be the San Augustin ranch,
a place that apparently exists even to this day.

And CJ, were the roads marked "Butterfield Overland Stage Road" actual stage roads?

I bet those guns weren't designed to kill flies

But they can be used to capture them with.

its not rocket science

No, after having checked out these two colts a bit closer i realise that.

That kind of ejector rod should have been high up on the gunmenīs wish-list considering the
time it saves.
And i have to add that those two guns look really cool, the first one has an almost
sloppy character with that cylinder and protruding rod,
and the second one raw, stripped and scruffy, and both of them beautiful, evil and deadly.

Thanks again, CJ.

Wow, thatīs a quite tricky procedure.
Was there any particular reason for a gunfighter to not
have the smarter ejector rod attached to the side of your gun - high prices, extremely complicated process?

Thanks a lot for the information, CJ.

So itīs possible to turn the ball seater push rod to the side?
I mean, because the opening where you insert the cartridges (and where the empty shells must come out)
is a bit up on the right side.

Damn interesting reading about those old firearms. I have two questions for you pistoleros (maybe you went through this earlier, in that case, please enlighten me):

1. Most of the converted revolvers i have seen lacks the ejector rod mounted to the side.
Take blondieīs gun for example. Is that just an error made by SL & co. or is it possible to eject the empty cartridges some other way?

2.  How do you get the bullets out of a cap and ball revolver if you want to remove them (without firing it, of course)?

Both were referring to having sex with her NOW and not in 1986.

Why then mention being a pedophile?

"Oh, nice,  a thread about Jennifer Connelly, an actor in one of SLīs best films" i thought,
watched the clip and read the replies, where i find out that one guy wants to have sex with a minor
and seems quite anxious about it.
Donīt be, says another one, cause he feels the same way.

Guess stuff like this is why i donīt check in very often...

She had a nice face and, if I remember well, she was well-endowed in other parts too.

Oh...and what about her acting? Or is a womanīs main task on film to look good? Huh

We all know of the rumor that " the good, the bad and the ugly" were supposed/ asked to play the
three baddies in the opening scene.
But who would have played which role?

I think Eli as Jack Elamīs character, Lee as mr. Strodeīs and Clint as the twitching knuckle-
cracker would give the best result.

Aren't there dunes up in Colorado north of Santa Fe?

There are some around the San Luis valley in southern Colorado. Heck, theyīre everywhere.

Regarding the desert in GBU; when T and AE enjoy a meal together the latter says something about
the desert being more than 100 miles from south to north, which is a fitting description of the
tularosa basin.
