Czech Republic. I wonder whether there is somebody else from here... Speaking about trains, my father is also big fan of them. When I watched GBU, he came to me during that railway station scene. He looked at the rails and said: "It is in the South, right?" So I said it was, and that it had been shot in Spain. And father said: "So in Spain it is even broader." What's the right term for the distance between rails in English, Peacemaker?

GBU cemetery, Almeria - for sure. And also others from Leone's films, except desert... but maybe even it. Other film sites... That Scottish village where Local Hero was shot and where they had to built phone box shown in the film. I don't remember the name of the village now. And maybe some sites from Seventh Seal by Bergmann... I don't dig Bergmann, I only liked Seventh Seal and the scenery in it.

You havent seen this until you have seen it in widescreen.
So I haven't seen it. I really liked the second part, honestly I liked it as soon as Sean appeared on the screen. The partnership gives great touch... I think widescreen is matter of all Leone's films. I'm pretty sure I missed a lot, but believe me, I'm glad I saw it, with all those difficulties to find it here.

Not only that: although GBU is well-known among casual film viewers, OUATITW is virtually unknown.
Here in the Czech Republic it is the opposite: OUATITW is well-known, even people who haven't seen it (me included, unfortunatelly) know the name and have an idea of an extraordinal film. When I mention GBU, I have to add OUATITW is made by the same director. In Czechoslovakian film database ( http://www.csfd.cz) OUATITW is the seventh and GBU the sixteenth (but with some Czech films before it, so among foreign titles it would be higher). I think this is really good... two Leone's films among the first twenty. OUATIA is 51. (BTW, if you like horrors, check out number ten, The Cremator in English. One of the best films I have ever seen, though I wouldn't say I liked it. And check it out even if you don't like them. )

Yes, Christian, if you ever manage to make that interview, it will be the most welcome thing here, I guess. I would like to know, why did they name him Benito in Italy and Miguel in other countries? It really disturbs me. I have DVD in Italian with subtitles and he is called Benito, but there is Miguel in the subtitles... that's really crappy.

Hm, I didn't notice it, I only noticed, that, though it seemed brown on pictures I have seen, it was something like olive green in the film... again, I hope it's the right word, olive...

Oh no. That post doesn't look how I wanted it to look... It will take me long time to get used to all those smileys and so.
Aha, modifying. I also didn't notice it before. So I changed it.
