5  General Information / General Discussion / Re:Eastwood's other Greatest movies... on: June 23, 2004, 08:38:39 AM
Personally I think The Eiger Sanction and Play Misty For Me were two of his greatest films,
but thats just me...
6  General Information / General Discussion / Re:Sergio as a footy fan on: June 23, 2004, 08:35:39 AM
There is something very heartwarming about Italian footballers crying, beautiful, beaten by their favourite pastime, cheating.

All together now  CIAO CIAO ITALIA....

Sorenson, great game.

11  Films of Sergio Leone / The Good, The Bad and The Ugly / Re:the better western on: March 25, 2004, 10:26:16 AM
in this world, there are two kinds of men, those who prefer OUTIW, and those who prefer GBU, the one who prefers OUTIW is a dead man....
12  Films of Sergio Leone / Once Upon A Time In The West / Christopher Frayling audio commentary on: March 25, 2004, 10:08:53 AM
watched the audio commentary version last night, Christopher Fraylings comments were riveting, but the next bloke sent me to bed, I might be doing him an injustice, I'll try again sometime, didnt get as far as the other experts but cant help thinking Frayling should have done it all.
13  Films of Sergio Leone / Other Films / Re: Django (1966) on: March 25, 2004, 09:55:36 AM
Djimbo
check out A Proffesional Gun, also Franco Nero, or the two Terence Hill Trinitys', they're pretty good and could change your opinion of non Leone SW's. Or even Django Kill for a bit of ultra violence.
14  Other/Miscellaneous / Off-Topic Discussion / The Battle of Algiers aka La battaglia di Algeri (1966) on: February 06, 2004, 06:29:27 AM
Battle of Algiers, Film Four tonight at midnight in UK.
Italian director Pontecorvo and a great Morricone score.
You've probably all seen it anyway...

I have a great book on Peckinpah, cant remember what it's called or who it's by, but I think it's a BFI book, I'll have a look for it, it's a great read.
