17  Films of Sergio Leone / Once Upon A Time In The West / Re: Harmonica's Tearing of Jill's Lace Bodice on: August 03, 2008, 04:00:42 PM
when I was a student in fine art faculty(movie depertment), I asked this one of my teacher, who also helped me to finish my thesis.Anyway He told me , Sergio Leone usually(not always of course) uses simple images and most of time he brakes all classic cliches.
in this scene He does both of them.Charles Bronson appears like a rapist which is also very similar to Clint Eastwood (FOD).He tears off Jill's Lace just to terminate her New Orleans backround. Now she is in the middle of wild west!!!
I will also share some interesting stuff about DYS and FOD!!!

26  Films of Sergio Leone / A Fistful of Dollars / Re: BOB ROBERTSON on: April 01, 2008, 01:51:59 PM
Yea that was the original title sequence to fool Italian audiences into thinking the film was actually an American made Western. I think GianMaria Volonte (Indio) is listed as actor John Wells too, and Benito Stefinelli is Benny Reeves.

That was the main reason. He wanted  this name respect of his father's memory.( his father ,Roberto Leone credited  in his own movies this name '' Roberto Roberti'' )
27  General Information / General Discussion / SERGIO LEONE eating spaghetti on: March 31, 2008, 08:21:14 PM

28  Films of Sergio Leone / A Fistful of Dollars / BOB ROBERTSON on: March 31, 2008, 07:51:42 PM
I found this from very old VHS.
29  Films of Sergio Leone / Once Upon A Time In The West / Claudio Scarchilli in deleted scenes on: March 31, 2008, 07:43:41 PM
These images  from the deleted scenes where Harmonica is beaten up by the sheriff's deputies ( beating is started from stable and continue in hotel room then hotel's coridor???) I looked at the pictures and I think it continues 2 or 3 different places.

and Claudio Scarchilli's name is Credited in italian dvd but he does not even appear 1 second in 170 minutes long.

this is very strange to me!!!

30  Films of Sergio Leone / Once Upon A Time In The West / Re: Duration problem - very important! on: March 31, 2008, 04:46:54 PM
[This scenes you're talking about will never be re-inserted in the movie for two reasons:
1) they do not match the rest of the movie (same dialogues...) since they were cut DURING THE SHOOTING, which resulted in changes of the sript
2) As far as I know, Leone didn't want these scenes.

But as extras, it would be great to see them (in the bonus DVD of the "edition of our dreams").]

but I am sure those scenes exist.and you may right ,they do not match rest of the movie.

I will open a new topic for one deleted scene very soon with a couple of screen shots to prove that that scene was shot and it  is exist.(it is about an actor, his name is credited but he is not in the movie)
