I'd like to get the 14 disc collection. Superman rules.

Superman III was funny, I didn't care what others say. Where else will you see The Man of Steel having a drink, and kick the crap out of himself?

I never saw BATMAN & ROBIN. I barely made it through BATMAN FOREVER. Hollywood is so content to throw nothing but money at the screen to get a product out. All style and no substance. I enjoyed the last two BATMAN movies because they were about more than simply special effects.

Yup, that's the 90's for you. Batman Forever was good when you're a kid, and didn't know any better. Hollywood has learned to take the superhero genre seriously. Something Richard Donner knew he made Superman, and almost finished Superman II. Over the years since Blade II, X-Men United, and the first two Spider-Man films, WB has finally learned to make a serious super hero film and produced Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. About time too, because I grew up with Batman.

They go into development hell. I mean there has been 10 Batman films announced since Batman & Robin, which I am sure is everyone's guilty pleasure (except mine, I thought it sucked), and only two of them were actually made.

They announced a sequal to Superman Returns but that was scrapped because they ran out of crack. They're just going to unplug the franchise and reboot it. They will no longer depend on the Donner/Lester films and will no longer fear that Christopher Reeve will harm them in their dreams like Freddy Krugar. I mean come on, the guy was in a wheel chair.

Thank god this board is not full of Fincher fans.

I do want to see this, to get my own opinion, but I couldn't enjoy Fight Club and Se7ven because somebody already gave away the endings to me. The entire film depended on the twists.

I did like Zodiac though.

It would be. Aren't they making Justice League into a movie? They should get Christian Bale and his demonic voice.

I hear they are going to reboot Superman. I hope this means new cast, director and everything.

That talk has been going on for years. I got my fill when the animated series did it.

And there was no internet back then. Thanks to the internet, people get over things very quickly, at high speeds.

The Joker doesn't have to return in the next Batman, but maybe in Batman 4 or 5, which can take several years, 10 to 15 years.

Few welcomed Heath Ledger when he was signed to the role. 95% of Batman fans still felt Jack was the true Joker. I was among the 5%, Cesar Romero was better.

Heath Ledger was brilliant as The Joker, his biggest mistake was taking pills with booze. You snooze you lose. I mean no disrespect, but many grown up should know that mixing booze with sleeping pills is bad.

I don't think The Joker should appear in the next film, he will be waiting trial in the nuthouse, like Carmine Falcone was in The Dark Knight. They'll give other villians a chance. The Joker's purpose in TDK was to turn Batman into a vigilante. Now that Batman wants the Harvey Dent murders pinned on him, The Joker will not have a purpose, at least until he see's the need to.

I would not have liked it if they killed off The Joker in The Dark Knight. The Joker is Batman's arch-nemisis. You can't have Batman without The Joker. I don't know what they'll do for the next film, but it's essential they recast The Joker. He doesn't have to turn up in the next film, allow the writers do use different villians, but The Joker should make a return if they do future films. I like to see them use Black Mask, an I have a feeling Nolan's version of The Riddler will be sinister.

The Incredible Hulk (2008) 7/10

Much better than Ang Lee's Hulk, and I know some fans of that will defend it to death. But I felt it was one of the best comic book films in recent years. I even liked it better than Iron Man and I loved Iron Man.

Iron Man I also give 7/10, for outstanding peformance by Robert Downy Jr, I felt too much of the film was Stark tinkering with the suit, but well done. Better than Spider-Man 3, and most recent Marvel adaptations and the lackluster Superman Returns.

I just wish I saw both of these films when they came out in May and June.

And I recently watched The Dark Knight again, I give that a 9/10. Full points would be a bit much.

I think the 229 minute cut is the perfect version of the film. I wouldn't want it to be any longer. But what a strange place to have an intermission.

The director sure has balls telling Robert De Niro how to act. Did they ever find the body?
