Hex.  Unfortunately I only have Once Upon a Time in the West, Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More and The Good the Bad and the Ugly on DVD.  The rest of my collection is on VHS and I have no way of converting VHS to a Screen Cap…

Hex has given me an idea.  I'm going to post up some "fresh" avatars of the Leone Movies.  It may take several weeks because it does take a little time.

If anyone wants me to make them one just let me know and I will try to accomidate.  Some of my Leone movies are still on VHS so I will be limited to making only avatars from the Leone movies I have on DVD.

If you want me to make you one let me know the exact hour, minute and second on your DVD player of the screen cap you want and I will try and re-size it and post it up in this thread...

Here are a few to get started:

If you would like to use one of these images for your avatar and don't know how I will try and explain how to do it.

First, select the image you would like to use from the above screen caps by "right clicking" on the image.  Then click on "Properties".  Next you will need to "Copy the address".  You will see the URL http:// address and simply highlight it by placing your cursor next to it and clicking and dragging the cursor over the text.  Once the whole address has been highlighted release the click and then right click on the highlighted text and then click on "Copy".  Once you have it "Copied" to your clipboard proceed to your "Profile" and click on it.  Once your in your Profile select "Forum Profile Information".  Once in there simply click the box that says "I have my own pic"  Then simply "Paste" in your copied address by placing the cursor in the box and clicking in it.  Once in the box right click and select "Paste".  If you see two http://'s at the start of the address it may be nesasary to remove one of them for the picture to work correctly.  Then scroll down to the bottom of the page and hit "Change Profile"

Your done.  The new avatar shoud be in like Flynn...

Hope that's not to confusing... :P

It is fairly complicated but not to bad once you done it a few times...

The trick is to have a DVD drive in you computer and the different software needed to accomidate.  Getting that stuff is half the battle.  The other half is playing around with the resizing part of it to get it just right...

First you have to be able to capture the shot that you want and that requires a "screen cap" software.  Then, once you have captured your shot you must re-size it to exactly 65 x 65 pixels or less.  Once you have your shot re-sized you will have to host the image somewhere on the web so it will show up on the board.

About the automatic massacre, the only other automatic "machine gun" type guns I've seen in Westerns would be the one in Rooster Cogburn(John Wayne) (on the raft) or the French gun in Two Mules for Sister Sara (Eastwood).
The one if Fistful looks a little too modern but I could be wrong.

The barrel of Ramon's Super Bad Ass/Pepperbox Machine gun is based on the Martigny Mitrailleuse or Montgomery Mitraileuse.  The configuration of the barrels differed with numerous variations.  Some had as few as twenty five barrels and others had up to 40.  At first this gun was a "volley" gun, which in essence fired all of it's barrels at once, but around 1880 they started to manufacture them to fire sequentially with hand crank much like the Gatling.

An ugly cow-woman.  :o She's one of the most revolting women I've ever seen in a movie.  I'm sorry if I'm offending anyone, but come on. :P There's more to a woman than breasts, people!  ::)

Are you serious?  The most revolting woman you've ever seen on film? :o

Five, six beers tops... ;)
