Between reality shows,.talk shows and sport shows TV is today a real shit.

Among current authors, I really like Michael Connelly, who's main character is Harry Bosch a homicide dick out of the Hollywood division.  Bosch, like most crime fiction policemen is always in trouble with his bosses and was demoted from RHD.  I think there are about 8 novels in the series with the first being Black Echo.

I red Angels Flight last night. Very good book. Thanks Franck :)

Thanks a lot  Shorty , very good job.

Red this morning, (After the Spaghetti-Western, the Cassoulet-Western)

Only for French Speaking people.
I'm afraid it should be 32 Milions Dollars lost in a trash, even in Almeria !

.

And you are correct about the Jewish ownership conspiring to withhold the publication of anti-Israeli polls.  I believe the Elders of Zion have that listed as Protocol #4.

Is it only  humor ?  Could you explain it ? I ' m afraid >:(.

I wonder why Frank was hanging him?  As the brother was cussing Frank, it was as though they knew each other personally.  Could his brother have been in Frank's gang?  Being punished for crossing him?

Great idea !

But Harmonica's revenge is a victim revenge. Harmonica remember all the names of the victims murdered by Franck.
He shows a solidarity with those farmers. It is not only a family or personal revenge I.M.O.

About Harmonica and Franck, I m not sure that 20 years have passed after the hanging.

People  became old very quickly in the wild wild west and Harmonica jacket is still the same.

Once Upon A Time In The West / Re:New OUTITW dvd - the ugliest version?
« on: January 08, 2004, 08:07:22 AM »
The R2 version sold in France is perfect. But this country  was choosen by Paramount to be the first country receiving the DVD last November.

May be a tribute to a Theater in Paris which showed the uncut movie during 5 years .

Frida was a very good surprise. Salma is perfect and the political/historical background not forgotten. Many inventive scenes and shots.

( I' m happy that Evita/Madonna did not obtain the role)

Shorty, I'm not able to import some picture from Lucky Luke website. Too bad because Colonel Mortimer is wonderful and all the others so-Leone characters  : Indians, Mexicans, Saloon pianists..

Is somebody able ? it should be great .

By the way nobody never made a study about relationship between Leone movie and Italian comics ? (I speak about the small format in black and white)
For example the friend of Captain Miki was very close to Al Mullock

Great film with a very male Tony Curtis (it is rare).

And an unforgettable shot: a  cut tree pushed by Vikings entering a castle door  .An historical penetration filmed from downside , showing a pair of wheel.

"Honni soit qui mal y pense" like English people says

And Borgnine jumping to the wolfs, and Kirk 's Iron hat..

 ;)

coincidence,I watch TV this morning: GIR/GIRAUD/MOEBIUS was spoking about the Blueberry Film project.
He regretted that one of his ideas ,( employ two old french rock singers Eddy Mitchell and Johnny Hallyday as gun-fighter), was not accepted.

To bad for all the Monica Bellucci 's fans. They will have the husband not the wife.

About Blueberry, remember the first books: the model was clearly jean-paul belmondo with broken nose and big lips?

If somebody open a new topic about comics, dont forget Lucky Luke ( from 2 Belgians, Morris and Goscinny) and his Leone-manner world.

I recently watched  PLATOON, remember Tom BERENGER in this movie: tough, scared, angry with yellow eyes.

Try to see the movie before answer me but I believe he could be a great Harmonica.

What you think about ?I iamgine him with a beige hat.

( in the others films Tom seemed to me a little bit too fat or weak. I tink that in PLATOON he is quite different.)  :)
