1  General Information / General Discussion / Re:The genius of any film you like on: October 08, 2004, 11:13:39 AM
g-blatt, they are actually making a "Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" film heard this from a buddy that works for Miramax. I hope whoever is doing it will do a great job, the old BBC treatment was done well for its time.
Yeah, I had heard something about the movie being made, but I didn't want to recommend the movie in case it turns out to be crap.

But seriously, read the book, it's hilarious...

Three Kings  really good, very spegeti western-ish

The Gods Must be Crazy  extremely funny with lots of great social satire.

Casablanca & the Maultise Falcon  Humphrey Bogart-nuff said

The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy  well actually this isn't a movie but a book, but it's probobly the funnest book you've never heard of, and I recomend it to anyone reading this post.

Oh yah Goldfinger and the Day of The Jackal are good too...
3  Other/Miscellaneous / Off-Topic Discussion / Re: Kill Bill on: August 17, 2004, 08:15:49 PM
I once read an early draft of the script whare at the end The Bride shows up at vila #4 in her blood soaked wedding dress and evreything, and Bill and her ducked it out at dawn on the beach with their Hanzo blades, spageti western style.
Now THAT would have been cool. Cool

These are my personal favorites:

"Keep your loven brother happy."

"How can I trust a man who wares both belt and suspenders? Man can even trust his own pants!"

"They call them millions..."

"When you have to shoot. Shoot, don't talk!"

"He asked you to be there, but there was only me... "

"Well if you miss, you had better miss very well! He who double crosses me and leaves me alive, he understands nothing about Toco, nothing..."

"Lets pretend that Chico here is the safe; which weighs three hundred pounds and cant be opened with dynamite..."

"Duck you Suckers!"
