4  General Information / Sergio Leone News / Re: Everything Concerning: DVDs, Posters, and Other (S)W Merchandise on: August 21, 2004, 10:04:46 AM
I have seen them all but when it came to buying I opted only for A Bullet for the General and Companeros. I may add Keoma later but I actually liked Mannaja a man called Blade alot more as far as the mid 70s spags go. Texas addios and 4 for the appocalypse were forgettable.

8  Films of Sergio Leone / For a Few Dollars More / Re:Favourite moments on: August 15, 2004, 10:29:50 AM
I agree way too many to list them all.

The Colonel/Hunchback confrontations are classic , especially Kinski's face twitch

When the Colonel unfurls his armament sack on his horse
9  Films of Sergio Leone / A Fistful of Dollars / Re:Dollars kid? on: August 15, 2004, 10:03:31 AM
Somebody give that kid a lemon !  Lips Sealed
10  Films of Sergio Leone / A Fistful of Dollars / Re:ROBERT MITCHUM? on: August 15, 2004, 10:00:49 AM
Very creepy role in Night of the Hunter. Even more so than Cape Fear (original). Both highly recommended.
11  General Information / General Discussion / Re:Best Leone movie on: August 15, 2004, 09:50:40 AM

12  Films of Sergio Leone / Other Films / Re: Sabata (1969) on: August 15, 2004, 09:43:08 AM
Sabata was a fun film. Not great by any stretch. Lots of gadgets to amuse. No where near the likes of The Big Gundown or The Great Silence in the ranks of the non Leone SW.
13  Films of Sergio Leone / A Fistful of Dollars / Re:YOJIMBO VS. FFOD on: July 29, 2004, 09:26:03 PM
Nice point on Millers Crossing. Definitely one of the Coen bros best work. Love the tommy gun scene accompanied by "Oh Danny Boy". What the hell got them from this movie to that POS "Intolerable Cruelty" Lips Sealed
14  Other/Miscellaneous / Off-Topic Discussion / Re:Kubrick on: July 28, 2004, 09:14:48 AM
Kubrick was definitely one of the handful of directors that could lay claim to the best ever. Recently watched Barry Lyndon, The Killing, Paths of Glory for the first time and wow, what a storyteller! Having seen most of his other films numerous times (clockwork orange still my fav kubrick) its time to rewatch a few I havent in a while, and a couple I havent seen yet.
15  Films of Sergio Leone / Other Films / Re: Death Rides a Horse aka Da uomo a uomo (1967) on: July 27, 2004, 10:22:34 AM
