This clip and score is right up Mr Tarantino's alley...

I can imagine this at the beginning of the movie, when Ruth is transferring prisoner Daisy.  With the train crashing thru all that snow

The only films I would rate in the 21st century are Interstellar and Sexy Beast.     Embarrassed

8  Films of Sergio Leone / The Good, The Bad and The Ugly / Re:WHEN DOES ANGEL EYES GET CALLED SENTENZA on: January 29, 2017, 10:58:18 AM
As far as I know 'Sentenza' is the Italian name for Angel Eyes. It means 'sentence' I think. Having not seen the Italian version I can't be totally sure though.

Google translate has it down as Judgement.  I don't know if it means what type of punishment gets dished out at the PoW camp.

You're leaving out the DJ cut: 210 minutes. Using modern technology (CGI, new voice actors) we now get to see scenes like the one where Angel Eyes steals the identity of the Union sergeant. ("Do you believe in heaven, Sergeant?" "Yes, I do." "Good. You've just been promoted." BAM!--ha ha, that scene gets me every time!). Naturally, the Socorro sequence is in there. Also a bunch of stuff I haven't written yet. What a cut!

Maybe a mashup of
For a few...
and Once Upon a time....

and make it into a 4/5 season mini-series called Leone's West?  Afro

When Mortimer says "Maybe next time" after Clint says "What about our partnership?"

Was that a subtle hint to GBU?
11  Other/Miscellaneous / Ennio Morricone / U.K. Virgin TV ad. on: November 29, 2016, 04:51:11 PM
The overplay is killing my enjoyment of the best movie score ever.... Sad

The 'bones' cut probably informs the audience that tuco has already done this type of thing before
13  Other/Miscellaneous / Ennio Morricone / Re: Morricone and Tarantino on: February 29, 2016, 02:04:56 AM
Well done Maestro..... Cheesy

I feared that he would've been caught up in the 'Diversity' row....because I thought that the oscar panel would've got a bit put off in awarding a film with 65 'N' words.
14  Other/Miscellaneous / Ennio Morricone / Re: Morricone and Tarantino on: February 18, 2016, 02:45:02 PM

It looks like legendary film composer Ennio Morricone has a new project in the works - but he's keeping it close to the vest.

Ennio Morricone came out of semi-retirement for the Oscar-nominated score of Quentin Tarantino'sThe Hateful Eight - his first Western work in 35 years.

Speaking to Deadline, the 87-year-old musician revealed that another collaboration with Tarantino could be in the offing.

"Tarantino has already told me that there will be a next movie that we are going to make together," the composer hinted. "I told him that in the future I would like to have much more time.

"I would like to start working with him even long before in order to have the time to work, to think about the music, and also to exchange more ideas with him about what I am going to score for him.
"I never ask any director to work with me, but it was Tarantino who told me, 'OK, there will be a next time'."

Yes, it was, but I think I read it somewhere before.

Youre right.....

I stole that 'other peoples ideas' quote from Robbie Williams.....when he dissed Noel Gallagher.
